Application
The UFO-7WI's most distinctive feature is the Spectron microprocessor which tests the internal battery's readiness. It automatically schedules and performs 30-second tests every 30 days and a full 90-minute test once yearly by simulating a loss in AC power. It works in conjunction with your fixtures normal electronic, dimming or magnetic ballast to keep the lights on for a minimum of 90 minutes.
External Specifications
The UFO-7WI has a 22-gauge steel case that keeps out moisture and dust. Mounting feet on both ends allow for installation to the fixture or ballast channel. It can also be mounted remotely, or away, from the fixture so long as it is half the maximum distance to the lamp as specified on the corresponding AC ballast.
