Developed by the innovative design teams at the Barron Lighting Group, the XEB-30-PAR ties into your normal compact fluorescent, T5, T8 or T12 linear fluorescent fixtures AC ballast. Using an independent maintenance-free nickel cadmium battery, this emergency ballast will generate an impressive 2600-3000 lumens on the floor of your egress path.
This 3000-lumen emergency battery pack affixes into your ballast channel or on top of the unit, using the metal surface as grounding to protect maintenance personnel from electrical shock. This device can also be remote-mounted in close proximity to the fixture using the supplied 2-foot flex wiring cable.
The XEB-30-PAR has a strong steel case that is painted with a black enamel coating which acts as a barrier against humidity. This emergency unit should is not be inherently suited for areas with excessive moisture or condensation or HVAC ducts unless the Damp Location option is selected.
