Our Fulham Brand Ballast Kit operates metal halide fixtures and comes complete with mounting bracket, wet capacitor, ignitor, in addition to a magnetic ballast.
The mounting bracket for the HH-MH-Q4-175-W-E1 model allows for simple and airtight installation into any HPS lighting fixture. The wet capacitor (dielectric oil filled) works to improve the lamp’s input power factor. The ignitor breaks down the lamp’s gas by providing a series of high voltage pulses to start lumination.
Constructed from an excellent grade of electrical steel, the ballast operates ED17 (Edison Base) bulbs, which are usually installed for retrofit applications. Probe start method allows for lamp electrodes to be fully heated before supplying necessary wattage. It also runs at a high factor of 90 percent. Ballast factor is important when determining the number of units to install while building an electrical system for your project. It’s also great because in effect it leads to lower energy consumption.
Features
Application
